Gas Plant on the Long Island Sound
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has approved building a liquified natural gas power plant that would float on the Long Island Sound, over the objection of Environmental groups, who believe a combination of conservation and clean energy sources could meet growing power demands in Connecticut and nearby New York areas.
