US Cities and Towns Back Kyoto Agreement

Tiny Milan, Minnesota, pop. 350, has become the latest municipality to sign on to the U.S. Mayors’ Climate Protection Agreement. The little community joins 53.5 million Americans in 333 cities whose governments have voluntarily agreed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the spirit of the Kyoto Protocol, according to a release issued by the city.
